Call it whatever you want...it's my life, and I'm currently loving it. Wonder what will happen next? You know I have more fun than you'll ever know. And to the haters: you may have it out for me, but I wear the biggest smile. Try to keep up. the one and only, JESSICA

All the girls in the club got their eyes on me.
They put me down cuz of jealousy.
But I'm not not, I'm not that girl.
And it's not not, no it's not my world.

Serena's truffle oil sandwich

One of the reasons we love Gossip Girl is the how it makes even the most mundane thing fabulously decadent. Take the grilled cheese sandwich. Our version usually involves the kind of cheese slices that come wrapped in plastic on store-bought bread. If we're feeling indulgent, we might use cheddar. Their version of the comfort-food classic? It involves white truffle oil and is served by the head chef at a ritzy hotel.

Now even the unwashed masses can experience such culinary heights for a mere $50! Yup, a grilled fontina and white truffle oil sandwich is on the menu at Gilt, the real restaurant in the honest-to-god Palace Hotel – the one our favorite bad boy's father owns in the show. If you balk at spending that much on a grilled cheese sandwich, wait a while – a version with black truffles will be available soon, for a paltry $25.

Note: It's unlikely that your sandwich will be served up by the head chef himself. (Trivia alert: Gilt restaurant head chef Christopher Lee appeared as himself in the pilot, serving Serena her betruffled treat.) And please – don't knee your server in the groin.
